Investigator, Inspector, Driver/Operator, Incident Safety Officer, Technical Rescue Apprentice

Basic Fire Inspector
This class is all three inspector certifications in one class.  This class is primarily online, power points, terms, glossary, quizzes.  Then you must complete in person skills and random skills exam.  There is an optional ride along for students that pass with a local county inspector. The cost includes book and online course.

This class is only the Inspector 1 course.  This class is primarily online, power points, terms, glossary, quizzes.  Then you must complete in person skills and random skills exam. The cost includes book and online course.

This class is only the Inspector 2 course.  This class is primarily online, power points, terms, glossary, quizzes.  Then you must complete in person skills and random skills exam. The cost includes book and online course.

This class is only the Plans Examiner course.  This class is primarily online, power points, terms, glossary, quizzes.  Then you must complete in person skills and random skills exam. The cost includes book and online course.

Fire Investigator
This course is primarily online with lecture, power points, terms and quizzes all online. There is in person skills and random state skills exam. To be certified in Texas as a Fire Investigator you must be a certified structural firefighter. To be certified as an Arson Investigator you do not need to be a firefighter, but must be TCOLE Peace Officer certified. We can also offer a ride along with a county investigator to those that successfully complete the course.

Driver/Operator-Pumper
This course meets the requirements to text and certify as a Driver/Operator-Pumper. You must hold one of the fire fighter disciplines to hold this certification. This is primarily online with in person skills and random state skills exam.

Incident Safety Officer
Currently this course is only in person.  We hope to have it ready for TCFP course delivery in both online and in person very soon.

Technical Rescue Apprentice
This course can be taken by any firefighter.  The course is intended to meet the requirements of the Technical Rescue Apprentice certification offered by the Texas State Firefighter's and Fire Marshal's Association.
